Thank you to everyone who turned out for our annual Valentine’s Dinner. We hosted our annual Valentine’s Dinner February 11, and it was a rousing success. We topped last year’s fundraising total, raising more than $2,500 to support our one room schoolhouse.
Many thanks to our local landmark, the Sprucewood Inn, for hosting us. The staff was amazing. The food was excellent and everyone had a great time. Every year, you make this wonderful community event possible, and we are grateful for you.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support the Schoolhouse.
2022
On Saturday, February 12, friends and neighbors reunited for one of Sedalia’s favorite traditions, the annual Valentine Day dinner at the Sprucewood Inn. The Sprucewood staff and Indian Park School House Association (IPSHA) volunteers came together to make sure everyone had a great time. Our talented volunteer chefs served up superb grilled thick-cut steak and fresh chicken, along with baked potatoes, salads, and tiramisu. Add music, dancing and great company, and we had the perfect recipe for a wonderful and memorable night.
The Valentine’s Day dinner is IPSHA’s primary fundraiser. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of the Valentine’s Dinner and the generous donations from our community, including the many people who attended, we raised $2350. We will thoughtfully use those funds to support our historic one room school house and cemetery, located on Highway 67.
Thank you for helping our historic School House!
